God can encourage us in unusual ways

Today I was struggling as I felt like I have few close relationships in my life.

If I look at the facts this does not appear to be the truth.

Emotions and facts don't always line up when you are alone alot and normally the people that truly love and care about me means a weekly phone call or text.

Today - Sunday 8/18/19

I stayed in bed even though not tired thinking and trying to pray. Wanted to get up and moving at 7 am but stayed there till 10 am. This made me feel even worst as all this time thinking my thoughts went to a relationship that once again had tried to repair and move forward only to feel hurt, foolish for having hope and what is wrong with me?

I was asking God why is my life seem so meaningless and empty. My home depresses me as it is so cluttered and overwhelming everywhere I look. Yes all of the blessings [possessions that I thought were this][reality is I was trying to feel the hole in my heart with stuff] have become an absolute curse.

Then as I was driving down one of the main streets in Mankato this older man in a Buick pulled up beside me at the stoplight. He rolled down his window and smiled. First thought I had was there a taillight out on my truck, a part that fell off, something blow out of back, or some comment about my driving?

Then he spoke " I see your sticker for KTIS and if you listen to it you will understand"

I was intrigued what would he say next

" See you at the wedding table"

Then the light changed and he drove off.

Wow I was blessed and God cares!!

Even better the car had custom plates which read "PAY FWD"

Yes God can be good and knows when you are hurting and lonely. This simple gesture lifted my spirits and day.
